LORD BELIAL: Injury Forces JALOMETALLI FESTIVAL Cancellation

August 15, 2005

Sweden's LORD BELIAL have been forced to cancel their headlining appearance at the fourth annual Jalometalli Festival, set to be held August 19-20 in Oulu, Finland. According to a posting on the group's web site, "Micke [Backelin, drums] has gotten a severe lumbago and will not be able to perform any drumming for quite some while. We are very sorry for any inconvenience we might have caused both the festival organizers as well as the visitors."

As previously reported, LORD BELIAL recently completed work on their sixth full-length album, "Nocturnal Beast", at Andy La Rocque's (KING DIAMOND) Los Angered Recording studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. "The result is 11 songs including intro and outro and the playing time is about 43 minutes," the band write on their web site.

"We are very satisfied with the sound and we would like to thank Mr. Andy LaRoque for a splendid work once again!"

"Nocturnal Beast" is tentatively scheduled for release this fall via Regain Records.
